Elven Hat…
When I have seen this type of hat for the first time, I have said to myself that I have to figure it out how to make it. Aaaand, I did it! 🥳
This beanie is very versatile, not only because it sends you to magical stories when you look at its twists but also, when you use the same type of needles and different types of yarn, you can create something really magic, beautiful, funny and warm for your little hero or heroine or, why not, for yourself. 🦋
You need 5,00 mm or 8US circular needles and DPNS in the same size and Aran or Worsted yarn. I do prefer 100% merino wool but you can use whatever yarn you have or like.
For the small sizes you will need 120m or 131yd and for the Adult ones you have to double it.
In the pattern you will find the instructions for hats with dimensions of the head circumference from 42cm (or ~17 in) till 60+cm (or 24+ in).
